  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT ON OUR SITE.
  2. Information You Provide To Us
When you sign-up on the Site, you may provide us with Personal Information (information that can be used to identify you as an individual) such as your name, email, and telephone number. We may also ask you to provide information, such as your home address, student loan debt amount, and credit card debt amount.
    Information We Collect Automatically
Usage Information. Whenever you visit or interact with the Site, we, as well as third-party service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how the Site is accessed and used (“Usage Information”). Usage Information may include browser type, device type, operating system, application version, the page served, the time, and the preceding page views. This information helps us keep the Site fresh and interesting to our users and allows us to tailor content to a user’s interests.
Device Identifier. Each time a user visits the Site, our web server automatically recognizes the user’s IP address, the Web page from which the user came, or other unique identifier (“Device Identifier”) for the computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device (“Device”) you use to access the Site. A Device Identifier is a number that is assigned to your Device when you access a website or its servers, and our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. We may use a Device Identifier to, among other things, administer the Site, help diagnose problems with our servers, analyze trends, track users’ web page movements, help identify you and your shopping cart, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Cookies; Action Tags. The technologies used on the Site to collect Usage Information, including Device Identifiers, include but are not limited to: cookies (data files placed on a Device when it is used to visit the Site), and action tags (transparent graphic image, sometimes called a web beacon or tracking beacon, placed on a web page or in an email, which indicates that a page or email has been viewed). We, or our vendors, may place cookies or similar files on your Device for security purposes, to facilitate site navigation, and to personalize your experience while visiting the Site. A pixel tag may tell your browser to get content from another server.
The first time a user provides an e-mail address in connection with their activities at a Site, we assign an identification number to that e-mail address and deploy a cookie to the user’s Device. Whenever that user comes back to a Site using the same Device, the cookie allows the Site to identify the user and to recall the user’s e-mail address. If, at any time, a user provides other information in connection with their activities on a Site (such as name, address, birth date, gender, etc.), we may store that information, along with the user’s e-mail address, in our user database. We may use the information stored in our database (i) for the purpose for which the information was originally provided by a user; (ii) to pre-populate information fields in the event a user wishes to sign up for and/or subscribe to services, promotions or offers in the future; (iii) to ensure that a user will not be repeatedly exposed to the same ads, offers and promotions while visiting Sites; and (iv) to, in connection with regular communication with a user, include offers, promotions or advertisements historically, or likely to be, of interest to that user.
To learn how you may be able to reduce the number of cookies you receive from us, or delete cookies that have already been installed in your browser’s cookie folder, please refer to your browser’s help menu or other instructions related to your browser. If you do disable or opt out of receiving cookies, please be aware that some features and services on the Site may not work properly.
